Integrative Somatic Support for Adults
an invitation home
If you want to feel different, you have to feel - differently.
Together, we move gently, in service of trauma healing and cultivating more capacity for presence and vitality, so that you can feel a little more safe in your body and even more capable navigating the big and small moments of life.
With time, witnessing, and practice, your capacity grows. This means less time in fight, flight, freeze and more time experiencing connection, play, curiosity, and openness to life.
Through the body, we can truly shift patterns, heal past wounds, navigate stress and uncertainty, transform emotions and harness their wisdom and power, and show up as the person our soul longs for us to be.
a deeper spiral of healing
Talk therapy is extremely important and valuable, and is an aligned fit for many of us at various stages of our lives.
And -
At some point, we can start to feel stuck. We have hit a plateau. We can sense there is something else, something calling us.
Perhaps, it is your body. Perhaps, it is time to turn toward the things that have been shoved down, ignored, and avoided. Perhaps, even a little bit, you feel ready to explore more of what is inside.
getting started: new clients
As a new client, we will start working together through a program that includes:
Five, one-hour sessions, scheduled bi-weekly, allowing space for your nervous system to integrate
Education on the nervous system and somatic healing frameworks
Practices and resource materials for your ongoing embodied exploration
Option to add on voice/text support throughout the program
The dedicated time in this container allows us space to get to know your nervous system, not rushing or pushing for too much too fast (in other words, not re-traumatizing your system). We get to support your system in starting to form a new story, new patterns, new ways of being—and this takes time.
The focus of this on-boarding program is resourcing and regulation, supporting more access to the experience of feeling safe enough. For many of us, especially if we have lived with trauma, feeling safe can actually feel kind of uncomfortable or scary—this makes a lot of sense, as things that are new or unfamiliar can feel threatening. With care and titration, we invite safety to feel a little safer.
After building the foundations of nervous system support through this initial program, there are different options for continuing to work together.
Investment: $599, payment plan option available
ongoing work: returning clients
After the onboarding program, we can explore customized options for working together, that may include:
3 or 6 month immersive mentorship and trauma healing program
Enneagram and somatics for egoic shadow work
Single, 1 hour sessions seasonally or as desired
If we have worked together over the past few years and you are curious to explore what may be a fit for you in this season, feel free to reach out via email or schedule a free consult. I would love to reconnect, see how we both have evolved over time, and explore what might be supportive for you in this season.
what clients are saying…
my approach to somatics
I know that we can really seek ‘the thing’ that will make us feel better. The magic pill, diet, class, guide or other experience that seems like it will take away the pain and ‘heal’ us, and ideally make it go away fast.
You are your own healer. You have the answers you need within you. No one is going to heal you besides you, and it probably won’t happen overnight.
I know this isn’t really what you want to hear. And, is there any part of you that might feel relief, and maybe a little empowered? You haven’t been doing it wrong, you don’t have to do more, you don’t have to be in a hurry, and you don’t have to search so hard.
The pain has something to teach you, and you get to become the medicine.
I believe our bodies are so resilient, that many modalities are supportive throughout a healing journey, and that somatic skill supports the integration of all our healing efforts.
And, with all of this, while we are our own healers, we can’t do it alone. We are human, a social species, with nervous systems wired for co-regulation and connection. I’ve heard it said…
‘We are hurt in relationship, and we heal in relationship.’
I believe it is our birthright to feel safe in our bodies, to know the experience of safety in a way that we know things beyond the mind. In many ways, I have privilege to feel safe based on factors of my appearance, identity, and lineage. And, I haven’t always known that safety. Somatic work transformed my felt-sense experience of every day life.
I acknowledge that our individual work can support tremendous healing and increase the capacity for feeling safe, and also, we can live in systems and structures that don’t support our safety. In our work together, we can grieve and feel anger about the harm of our society, acknowledging all of the personal ways you have been hurt and endangered, and we can support your capacity to feel liberation in yourself, right here and now, even a little bit.
Together, with others who are healing all over, we send ripples out into the world and show up with our embodied skill, presence, and love to be the change we wish to see.
